Winter Morning Pictures is begin a first time series of student lectures on the art and business of movie making.

The year long series is called "Script to Screen" and will kick off at Central Catholic High School in May 2008. The Script to Screen program was initiated by me, as a way encourage and educate students of my high school alma mater to pursue their passions for script writing and film making.

Over the past few years student interest in the art and business of film making has exploded. Central Catholic has wanted to offer this dynamic and differentiating series as an option for their students but needed a person to kick it off. (insert "me")

I will act as the "Artist in Residence" for the series and will have SINCE I DON'T HAVE YOU as our case study. My partners Ron Hankison, Mike Hamilton will be guest speakers throughout the year.

The following topics will be covered. This list is just an outline to give you an idea of how much we will be covering -

As you can see we will have a ton to cover. And as we go through each of these stages we will be updating the students as to how we are progressing on the case study SINCE.

The "final" if you will, will be the students actually participating in the production of SINCE when we shoot at some of our scenes at Central Catholic next summer 09.

This is an awesome program, an awesome opportunity for the students and if things go well over this year, we will present our results for implementation throughout the Greater Diocese. That would be huge!
